Children in U.S. Taking Fewer Prescriptions

Posted: Updated:

Children in the U.S. are taking fewer prescription drugs.

The Food and Drug Administration says the number of prescriptions for kids is down seven percent from 2002.

The biggest drops were seen in antibiotics and drugs for allergies and pain.
