LEWISBURG -

The Greenbrier Valley Farmer's Market celebrated its Grand Opening Saturday with live music, fresh produce and hot barbeque.

Farmer's from the Greenbrier Valley made their way to the corner of Arbuckle Lane in Lewisburg to showcase their home grown favorites.

Entertainment was provided by Hans Creek Band of Monroe County.

"Well you can get everything from homemade bread, to vegetables, to plants for your garden, to a barbeque sandwich," said Dennis Burns with Hidden Springs Farm.

"This is a brand new location. We're a brand new organization, the Greenbrier Valley Farmer's Market. We've got lots of new vendors. We have youth members that are in FFA and 4-H. We have a lot of new blood, new excitement," said Pam West with West Farm.

The Greenbrier Valley Farmer's Market is open Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
