Motorcycles will be rumbling across Raleigh
County for a good cause this
weekend.
The 8th annual "Run for Hospice" poker run kicks off this Saturday, June 30, at the YMCA
Soccer Complex in Beckley.
Organized by the Living Waters
Baptist Church
with help from Hoodlums Motorcycle Garage and J.T. Cycles, all proceeds from
the event go to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
In addition to the poker run, which kicks off at 11 a.m., Ramey Ford has donated a 1996 Buick Riviera
which will be the headline item at an auction which begins at 2 p.m..
Participants in the event will also have the chance to
participate in a number of fun activities as part of the 3rd annual
car show presented by Shade Tree Car Club. Those festivities will run from 11 a.m. until 6
p.m.
