The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has announced the re-issue of boil water advisories for three communities in southern West Virginia.

ARNETT -
A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of the
Raleigh County Water system in the Arnett area. The areas affected are from
Dameron to Jarrels Valley
on Roue 3 and Sandy Bottom on Route 1.
Work is being performed on the water system in the area,
leading to a high probability of contamination.
Authorities advise that, prior to consumption, all water
should be boiled for at least 1 minute. This includes water used for drinking,
cooking, washing dishes, hygienic purposes and bathing.
The issued leading to this advisory are expected to be
resolved within 3 days.
