Fifth Annual ‘Best of West Virginia’ Art Show Displayed at Tamarack

Some of the finest works of art in the state are currently on display at Tamarack.

88 artists representing 31 of West Virginia's counties were selected to have their work recognized in the annual "Best of West Virginia Juried Exhibition." Their work was selected by a panel of 3 respected judges, and 7 received cash  prizes.

"It's a credit to the artists of the Mountain State how well the diversity of their media, their talents and their inspirations are portrayed in such a wide range of methods," said Gallery Manager Mary Barwick.

"The response to this show is always overwhelming."

The works will be on display with works for sale until August 18.

The following is a list of those selected as cash prize recipients, along with judges comments:
