Drinking Coffee Could Reduce Heart Risk

Posted: Updated:

Drinking coffee, in moderation, could reduce the risk of heart failure.

New research from the American Heart Association suggests that by drinking coffee, people develop a tolerance to caffeine.

And that may lower the risk of developing high blood pressure and heart failure.

Researchers say moderation is key meaning about two cups a day.

Excessive coffee drinking, defined as five to six cups, may increase the chance of heart problems.
