NORTH FORK -
The boil water advisory that had been issued for the North
Fork Water Works has been lifted.
The advisory had been issued due to a leak resulting in a drop
in water pressure across the system, leading to the possibility of contamination.
There is no longer a need for customers in the effected area to boil their
water prior to consumption.
