Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Shades of the tragedy in Newtown, Conn. darken southern West Virginia as a man from Shady Spring threatens to "relive the Newtown shooting."
A new study in the journal "Pediatrics" finds infants born at 37 or 38 weeks, who are technically "at term," have an increased risk of developmental delays or other medical difficulties.
Researchers analyzed data from 128 thousand babies in New York City and matched their birth records with their Third Grade math and reading tests.
They found achievement scores for children born at 37 and 38 weeks were significantly lower than those of children born at 39, 40 and 41 weeks.
Scientists said the infant brain grows rapidly in the last weeks of gestation.
