Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

Fayette County was one of the hardest hit during Friday nights storm and they are still feeling the impact.
Folks all over Fayette County are without power and water tonight.
After 4 days folks said they are getting desperate and are trying to keep cool any way possible.
Elizabeth Craddock of Minden said that she has been trying her best to keep her children cool. She said it has been difficult for her because she is without water in Minden.
Fayette County has over 22,000 without power tonight.
