New findings show many heart attack patients are usually re-hospitalized within a month for other issues.
The study in the Annals of Internal Medicine looked at about 3,000 patients and found conditions, including diabetes and anemia, were behind about 60 percent of the re-hospitalizations.
More than three quarters of a million people are hospitalized every year after suffering their first heart attack.
