Water and ice have been in high demand since the storm swept through.

People have stood in line to get bags of ice and cases of water.

In Monroe County, water and ice were distributed at City Hall Tuesday.

Union Mayor Caroline Sparks said their water system is running and at normal capacity, thanks to generators.

But for people in outlying areas, there is help available.

"The town of Union has also set up a water distribution system," Union Mayor Caroline Sparks said. "For people in the outlying areas, they can come get water and ice as we have it available here on Main Street. Water is also available in Greenville and Lindside and at the fire department in Ballard."

Sparks said despite the statewide boil water advisory, the system in Union is not affected.
