FAIRLEA -

With an estimated 35,000 people coming to Fairlea as the Greenbrier Classic Concert Series begins, police are warning drivers to be considerate and to pay attention to officers directing traffic.

Interstate 64 will be marked with event traffic signs, as well as alternative routes such as Route 60 and Old Powell Road.

Parking will be available at the state fairgrounds this year, but only by using the Route 219 North Livestock Entrance.

Old Powell Road will also be available to enter and exit the parking area.

Police want to remind drivers that traffic will be the heaviest on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday on Route 219 in Lewisburg and Fairlea.
