WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS -
You have probably seen the world famous horses in popular Super Bowl commercials, but the Budweiser Clydesdales are not your typical horses.
The East Coast hitch of the Budweiser Clydesdales have spent the week at America's Resort, making several appearances throughout the Greenbrier Valley.
The gentle giants average 6 feet in height and weigh around 2,000 pounds.
"There are people who show them at fairs and competitions, and some people have them just to have them in their own backyard. They aren't really used for work too much anymore. You're not going to see them at a horse pull. You don't see too many of them in the woods pulling logs," said Burton Westbrook, Clydesdale Handler.
The horses spend around 320 days a year on the road, stopping by fairs, parades, and special events.
One can be seen in downtown Lewisburg Saturday, July 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
