Announcements were made on Monday, July 9 about where those are still without power can receive hot meals, water and ice in Greenbrier County.
The Alderson Volunteer Fire Department will distribute bottled water, and hot meals all day through Wednesday, or longer if needed. Residents can call 304-445-7420.
Meanwhile, the Greenbrier has shelters at the Alderson Football Field, Renick Firehouse and Rainelle Town Hall from Noon to 8 p.m. They are distributing ice, bottled water and produce from the Greenbrier Farm. Volunteers also will be serving lunches and dinners.
