This state is great – but don't take my word for it, just ask Karen Kane, a writer at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Like so many of us, Kane was dealing with the after-effects of the devastating storm while traveling through our state.
Basically stranded with her family in Fayetteville last week, Kane met up with a local family who gave them something to eat and supplied them with fuel to make it to a local gas station.
Kane wrote about her experiences on the Pittsburgh Post Website and the response has been overwhelming.
Her story is just one more reason why West Virginia is truly almost heaven.
