A kickball tournament to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation was held in Beckley on Sunday.
The 'Kickin' and Wishin' Kickball Extravanza' raised money to make dreams come true for kids with life threatening medical conditions.
On Sunday, several teams competed in the kickball tournament at the Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex in Beckley.
Whether it's swimming with dolphins or a trip to Disney World, event organizer Chris Meadows said it's about giving kids the hope to push on another day.
"It gives these kids the opportunity to have a wish fulfilled. They push forward until they get that goal. Then it gives them hope after that to actually be a normal kid.Their lives are full of needles and doctor's visits. If we're able to give them one fantastic day, it might set them up for the rest of their life," said Meadows.
