The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has announced the re-issue of boil water advisories for three communities in southern West Virginia.

Following an advisory issued by Beckley Water Company, West
Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory to
approximately 700 customers in the Glade Springs water system.
Customers in he affected area are advised to boil water for
at least 1 minute before consumption until further notice. This includes water
used for drinking, bathing, making ice, washing dishes and food preparation.
Authorities caution against using home filtration devices in
place of boiling water.
