COAL CITY -
Emergency crews were working to free an individual who was pinned under debris after a wall of a structure they were demolishing Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was reported to Raleigh County Emergency Services at approximately 6:45 p.m. The Coal City, Ghent and Sophia-Area Volunteer Fire Departments all responded to the scene, along with he Sophia City Fire Department, the Raleigh County Sheriffs Department and EMS.
The extent of the individual's injuries was unknown at the time of writing.
