Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

CHARLESTON (AP) -
West Virginia officials hope to show off the state and some of its recent achievements while hosting hundreds of their counterparts from throughout the South.
The Southern Legislative Conference is holding its annual meeting in Charleston at the end of this month.
House Speaker Rick Thompson is chairing the 15-state conference. Organizers expect the meeting with draw around 600 state lawmakers, staffers, other public officials and their families.
Thompson said the highlights include discussion of the specialized court West Virginia is developing to handle business disputes. Officials will also talk about how the state leads the South for exports.
The four-day session will also feature a number of social and recreational events around the region.
Special guests include author Homer Hickam, actress Jennifer Garner and singer Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.
