Names are released in a fatal accident out of Wyoming County.
Sheriff Randall Aliff tells 59News that Kevin Cook, 44, of Pineville lost control of his vehicle on Route 10 near Cyclone on Thursday, July 19 at around 1:45 p.m. He apparently crossed the yellow line and hit a car driven by Dalton Watts, 20, of Cyclone.
Cook was killed in the accident. Watts was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
Sheriff Aliff said there is no indication about what lead Cook to lose control, but he did say there was no chance that alcohol or drugs were involved.
