CHARLESTON (AP) -

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin is ordering the lowering of flags at state facilities as a mark of respect for the victims of deadly shooting at a movie theater in Colorado.

The governor ordered the flags lowered on Friday following the overnight shooting during a midnight showing of the new Batman movie.

Tomblin's office says the flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on Wednesday.
