A fundraiser will be held to remember a Nicholas County man who was killed when his motorcycle collided with the rear end of van back in June.

Wes Shackelford will be remembered by family and friends on Monday, August 6th at Pies and Pints in Fayette County.  His daughter,  Madalynn Grace who was born after his death will also be celebrated.

This special evening will feature a menu prepared by Oscar Aguilar, courtesy of a donation by US Foods. Bridge Brew Works has donated some great local craft beer for the event.

Live music by local musicians is part of the event. And bring your checkbook, because there will be a silent auction featuring artwork from local artists, outdoor gear, restaurant gift certificates, and other cool stuff.

It's only $20 to attend. All proceeds will go to Madalynn Grace and Holly Rose.

If you want to get involved, you can  donate a silent auction item, by contacting Kristy Rodrigue at 704-277-3383.

If you are a musician and would like to volunteer to perform, contact David Bailey at davidthomasbailey@gmail.com or 304-237-9260.

If you would like to volunteer at this event, contact Angie Bard at 304-619-3379.
