Residents on the Shady Spring side of Blue Jay Six road are advised to boil their water when it is used for drinking, cooking or bathing.

The Boil Water Advisory was issued on Monday, July 23.  The affected area is the north end of Blue Jay Six Road to West Whitby Road, including East Whitby Road.  The reason for the precaution is due to a break in the line that needs to be repaired.  A released from the PSD says conditions indicate there is a high probability that the water is contaminated.

Customers are advised to bring their water to a full rolling boil for at least one minute and then allow it to cool before being used in food preparation, drinking or hygienic reason such as bathing or brushing teeth.
