RALEIGH -

We are continuing to learn details surrounding the car that struck a two-year-old in Raleigh County.

Raleigh County Sheriffs deputies said two-year-old Remington Wolfe was playing in his yard on Raleigh Ridge Road when he darted into the neighbors driveway.

At that time a neighbor was backing out and the toddler and car collided.

Luckily the toddler was not seriously hurt.

"The fact is we all loose our focus and very seldom do we have to pay dues for it. And there is a worse case scenario where we do end up having a tragic event. We are fortunate in this instance that there was not serious injury," Sheriff Steve Tanner, Raleigh County said.

The driver of the vehicle will not face any charges.
