RALEIGH, W.Va. -

Coal spilled into Piney Creek by a train derailment on Thursday, Aug. 2 has all been cleaned up, according CSX officials.

Crews from the railroad worked all night to get the wreck cleaned up and remove the cars from the track.  As of Friday morning, the cars were staged to be removed and disposed of.  The work being done on Friday includes repairs on the track and the bridge.  CSX said they are investigating what caused the bridge over Piney Creek to fail.

The rail line is closed until the track work is completed.
