Charleston woman headed to prison for selling crack cocaine

A Charleston woman was sentenced to two years in federal prison for distributing crack cocaine, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Cary White, 29, of Charleston, previously pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting the distribution of crack cocaine.

Authorities said White admitted to selling crack cocaine to a confidential informant.

White also admitted that she was responsible for additional crack cocaine and cocaine transactions in the Charleston area, according to the release.
