Kids At Risk When Riding in Cars

Posted: Updated:

New research shows many kids are still not using age appropriate safety restraints in cars, and many are still placed at risk riding in the front seat.

Children are supposed to stay in the back seat facing backwards until age two.  They're not supposed to ride in the front seat until age 13.

But the new findings from the University of Michigan show that kids rarely sit facing backwards after age one and are often in the front seat after seven years old.
