The annual youth livestock auction at the State Fair is bringing new opportunities for buyers this year.
The Youth Livestock Association has set up special pens for the champion animals and the name of the buyers will be displayed on the pen.
The association says there will be even more animals for sale this year and the children are looking forward to seeing their projects sell.
Arthur Bartenslager is with the Youth Livestock Association and said, "It can be somewhat emotional for the kids but it's also a proud moment for them to show off what they have done and how they have excelled with their projects and displaying them at the fair and of course how they have placed at the fair."
The children who sell their livestock use the money to continue their education in future projects.
The livestock auction will take place next Tuesday at 3 p.m.
