Charleston's East
End is a dynamic, vibrant place with truly amazing potential.
City leaders who are beginning to develop and implement the
East End Community Renewal Plan are right to limit what kinds of business can
set up shop in the very shadow of the State Capitol.
Strip clubs, porn shops, mini-casinos and the like have no
place in the Capitol City,
and certainly not on the East End.
We want Charleston
to be all that it can be, not a place where cheap thrills trump community.
