LEWISBURG -

The West Virginia Division of Highways is working to replace a bridge on County Route 5/2 in Oscar.

District Nine Bridge Engineer, Adrian Lusk, said the Robbins Run Bridge was closed to traffic on Monday, Aug. 13.  People who use the bridge in Greenbrier County are being detoured using CR 5/2 and CR 5/1.  Pocahontas County residents are detoured using CR 26 and CR 26/1.

The bridge replacement is expected to be completed on Nov. 30.  Lusk said the bad weather and other problems could extend the project. Motorists should allow for extra time in their commute.
