The keynote speaker was Chris Herren. Herren is a former NBA player who battled drugs his whole career. He was also the subject of an ESPN '30 For 30' documentary, about his fight with drugs.
After Herren's speech, a basketball game was held featuring former Mountaineer Joe Mazzulla and 'America's Got Talent' winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. Former Mountain State head coach Bob Bolen coached the squad.
