WVU Athletic Director Oliver Luck made a trip to Pittsburgh, but not for recruiting. Instead, his son, and No. 1 pick, Andrew and the Indianapolis Colts were playing the Steelers in a preseason game.
Luck went 16/25 for 175 yards and two interceptions. He also ran for a touchdown. The Colts lost 26-24.
"He led the Colts to 17 points-a couple of nice drives," said the elder Luck.
Luck was in Daniels at Glade Spring, for a WVU Golf Outing on Monday.
"I think he'll be fine. It's a learning curve that every rookie quarterback goes through," he said.
