Convenience Store Robber Remains on the Run

Posted: Updated:

A robber remains on the run nearly a week after he robs a Raleigh County convenience store.

A man robbed the Little General Store in Bradley Saturday, Aug. 18 around 10 p.m.

That's across from the Crossroads Mall.

Sheriff's deputies said robberies can quickly turn violent.

"They have the potential to be very violent," Cpl. James Williams, with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department, said. "The potential for someone to be harmed is very great. People who do armed robberies don't usually stop at just one."

The suspect put his hand in his pocket as if he was armed and demanded money.

He then left the area with money in a white car with a spoiler on the trunk lid.

He was wearing a black and white flannel hoodie and a pink cloth over his face.
