CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -

A GOP candidate is alleging political bias by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

Republican John Raese is running for the U.S. Senate. He slammed the chamber Tuesday alleging the business group won't let him speak at its annual summit this week.

But Chamber President Steve Roberts said Raese had announced in April that he would not speak to the chamber.

The business group finished the schedule for its 3-day conference about a month ago. Its speakers include several GOP candidates. Republican U.S. Reps. David McKinley and Shelley Moore Capito are among the elected officials headlining the event.

Roberts said the chamber remains willing to adjust its schedule to add Raese.

Raese is running against U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, who is also among the summit's speakers.
