Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

West Virginia electronic books consumers are expected to receive $300,000 under a nationwide settlement with three book publishers over allegations of price fixing.
Attorney General Darrell McGraw says the money is part of a $69 million antitrust settlement with 54 attorneys general for the other states, districts and territories.
The agreement is with Hachette Book Group Inc., HarperCollins Publishers LLC and Simon & Schuster Inc.
The publishers also will have to allow online retailers to competitively price all e-books in the future. They also will pay $7.5 million to the states to cover costs.
Payments to consumers who bought e-books from the publishers between April 1, 2010, and May 21 are to begin a month after a court approves the deal.
The publishers had earlier settled with the U.S. government.
