The Kids Classic Festival has been a Beckley tradition for 19 years and this year the program is offering free bowling to help entice families to get more involved.
The festival got underway in Beckley on Monday and the entire week is scheduled with fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Until Saturday September 8th, if you purchase an adult bowling game at Leisure Lanes in Beckley, one child gets a free game and shoe rental.
Organizer Jill Moorefield said special discounts like the one at Leisure Lanes helps bring families closer together.
"We just want to prove that Beckley loves their kids and so we try and put together as many affordable activities as we can and its just a great time for families to get together," said Moorefield.
Wednesday the events will continue with a basketball shooting contest at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia in Beckley. The winner will take away a youth YMCA membership.
