PIPESTEM -

In just one day, bands will take the stage in Summers County for this year's culture fest.

Organizers are busy transforming the Appalachian South Folk life Center in Pipestem into a whimsical music fest for the over 1,000 people expected to attend.

Those working behind the scenes are looking forward to a fun filled weekend.

"It is an inspired step outside of your norm. It is a break from your day to day activity. It is a very eclectic line up," Lori McKinney, Organizer and Artist said.

"This is just the most divine place I know and when you get here, the people, it is just so easy to connect," K. Sheehan Dasenbrock said.

Organizers say this family oriented event helped bring multiple cultures into the mountain state.
