Maroon and Gray Day, Band Day Planned For Mountain Lions' Sept. 8 Game

The Mountain Lions stay on their home turf for game number two of the 2012 season. Concord University, 1-0, takes on the Winston-Salem State University Rams, 1-0, on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Callaghan Stadium. Kickoff is 1 p.m.

Concord wowed the home crowd for the season opener on Sept. 1 with a 24-21 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne.

The Sept. 8 game has been designated Maroon and Gray Day and fans are encouraged to wear Concord's school colors to cheer on the Mountain Lions.

Saturday is also Band Day on the CU campus. Area high school musicians will perform with the Mountain Lion Pride Marching Band during the pregame and halftime shows. For more information contact Dr. Laura Zamzow at lzamzow@concord.edu
