Emergency responders were on the scene of a school bus accident in Raleigh County on Tuesday. The accident happened in Shady Spring at around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 19. Officials
Emergency responders were on the scene of a school bus accident in Raleigh County on Tuesday.
Dispatchers said a Raleigh County dollar store was robbed on Sunday.
It happened at the Dollar General on Harper Road in Glen Daniel at 9:30a.m.
According to 911 operators, a man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk, alleging he had a weapon hidden in his pocket.
Dispatchers said the suspect was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
The Family Dollar store in Glen Daniel less than a quarter of a mile down the road was robbed on Saturday, Sept. 1.
At this point, it is unclear whether the two robberies are related.
The Raleigh County Sheriff's Dept. is investigating.
