A cyclist is taken to an area hospital after being struck by a vehicle that later drives off.
Raleigh County 911 dispatchers tell 59News two people where riding their bicycles on Grandview Road just before noon on Tuesday, when a vehicle struck both of them.
Dispatchers say the driver of the vehicle did drove away from the scene.
Rescue crews arrived on the scene near Grandview National Park and one person was taken to the hospital after being evaluated.
There is currently no word on the cyclist's injuries. Raleigh County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the accident.
