BLUEFIELD, Va -

A man described as a "dangerous sex offender" wanted out of Maryland is behind bars, after police say his girlfriend "liked" the Tazewell County Sheriff's Facebook page.

Dyllan Otto Naecker, 29, was arrested at a house on Taft Lane near Bluefield on Wednesday, September 12. According to a press release from the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office, deputies were lead to the residence after his girlfriend "liked" the office's page on the popular social media site.

Naecker was arrested without incident on multiple charges including failure to register as a sex offender,  as well as possible federal charges for crossing state lines.

Naecker's girlfriend faces possible charges for obstruction of justice and harboring a fugitive.
