RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. (AP) -

A union official says striking workers at Constellium Rolled Products won't vote on the company's latest contract offer.

The company made the offer last week, two days after both sides met with Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin in Charleston. The offer expires Friday.

United Steelworkers Local 5668 unit president Nathan Nelson tells WTAP-TV (http://bit.ly/UqgHkh ) that the union has notified the company that there won't be a vote on the offer. He declined to give a reason, saying "that's union business."

He says the union is willing to meet with the company.

About 700 union members have been on strike since Aug. 5 when contract negotiations broke down.

Constellium's aluminum rolling mill in Ravenswood is Jackson County's largest employer.
