We've all heard a Facebook profile can get you into trouble, but one woman's mistake has her boyfriend locked up and her facing jail time.

Tazewell County Sheriff's officers had been looking for wanted sex offender Dyllan Otto Naecker, when photo of him and a woman popped up on their Facebook page.

Officers then looked into this woman's profile who happened to be Samantha Dillow, Naecker's girlfriend. Then officers started following the Facebook trail until it led them right to Naecker.

"Our friends on Facebook said well maybe she was trying to do that to tell you she knew where he was at and maybe under direst. That clearly was not the case. We feel she was monitoring our page to see what was going on and really didn't think about her profile picture," said Chief Deputy Major Harold Heatley.

Naecker faces failure to register as a sex offender and other charges out of Maryland. His girlfriend Dillow was charged with the obstruction of justice, harboring a fugitive and could face a 2,500 dollar fine or a year in jail.
