Police have confirmed that Jarod Washington was taken into custody in the Beckley area on Friday evening, Sept. 14.

A man police are looking for in connection with a murder near Charleston's West Side is believed to be cornered.

Charleston Police have barricaded the 1400 block of Lee Street East. According to sources, police are looking for Jarod Edward Washington.

The Charleston Police Department issued warrants Washington in a Monday shooting on Piccadilly Street. According to police, Roy Chambliss was found dead and Natalie Sprouse had a gunshot wound to the arm.

Police issued warrants for Washington and Daniel Little, who was arrested Sept. 10.
