RONCEVERTE -

New businesses are coming to the town of Ronceverte in Greenbrier County and the owners of these buildings are restoring pieces of history at the same time.

These historic structures are the first thing you see as you enter the town and the four-year project to turn them into local businesses is nearing completion.

Renovations over the entire town of Ronceverte have been taking place for the past 10 years.

One restored building owner Doug Hilton said, "These are part of our revitalization efforts. These buildings represent the first entrepreneurial endeavor of putting together buildings and doing renovations and actually bringing in our own businesses."

Another project going on in Ronceverte is this bridge over the railroad that has been closed for decades.

The Development Corporation is using volunteer efforts and donations to restore it for pedestrians

If you want to volunteer to help with the bridge project, show up Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. on the park side of the bridge.
