Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

CHARLESTON -
A man accused of stealing, raping and killing his neighbor's goat has been found mentally incompetent to stand trial by a Kanawha County court.
Mark Lucas Thompson will spend six and half years at Sharpe Mental Hospital instead of going to jail.
On Monday, he pleaded not guilty by reason of mental illness to animal cruelty and petit larceny charges.
The case happened in May 2011 when witnesses said they found Thompson standing over his neighbor's dead goat. This happened at a house near Quebec Road in South Charleston.
Investigators said he stole the goat and stabbed it to death. The goat was also sexually assaulted, authorities said.
Witnesses said they found Thompson standing over the goat half naked and wearing women's underwear. Authorities said he was high on bath salts at the time.
Thompson will get credit for time he has already served.
