The School of Harmony was filled inside and out with parents, grandparents and children enjoying all that was available to them for the Creative kid's Festival on Saturday.

Children were trying out new instruments from drum sets to guitars and even violins. Those who weren't interested in music were making pottery, painting and making crafts with the help of instructors and vendors. Also a petting zoo was available for families to feed some of the livestock at the festival.

Lacy Treadway is the event organizer for the school and said more people attended this year than last year. She said she wants the event to continue to grow into a family fun atmosphere, "It's in the football field so kids can run around and have fun and get to do creative activities."

Treadway admits the festival is great to area families know what the school can offer aspiring students. The School of Harmony in Beaver is now offering dance and art classes.
