West Virginia running back Shawne Alston is listed as day-to-day with a thigh bruise.
Alston was injured against James Madison two weeks ago. He didn't get a carry and saw limited playing time in No. 9 West Virginia's 31-21 win over Maryland on Saturday. Without him, West Virginia (3-0) was limited to 25 yards rushing.
Alston leads the Mountaineers with 185 yards and has scored three of the team's five touchdowns on the ground.
West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said Tuesday that Alston will need to practice all week in order to play next Saturday against No. 25 Baylor (3-0).
