Police are searching for two men who allegedly entered a home in Smithers dressed as State Troopers and held up the homeowners at gunpoint.

It happened Monday at around 9:30 p.m. on Michigan Ave.

Witnesses said the two men were wearing outfits resembling State Police uniforms.  The suspects pulled out a gun then demanded drugs and money.  Police said they didn't get anything from the victims and ran off.

Investigators with the Smithers Police Department tell 59News that they are looking for two white men with medium builds and they are believed to be in their early 30's.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Smithers Police Department at (304) 442-5296.
