RUPERT -

Residents of Rupert will be without water for several hours on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

According to a release, there are plans to repair a water main and customers will not have water service until the repairs are finished.  Officials also say there will be a boil water advisory in effect for several days after the repairs are complete.

When a boil advisory is active, affected residents are asked to bring their water to a full rolling boil for at least one minute before drinking or to use for cooking or cleaning.  The water should also be allowed to cool before use.
